Curious to get some insight from others outside of the vague "when you're ready answer" which is what I'm already telling myself anyway.

I know I need a lot of improvement in math and as such have started working on the MGMAT Books. I'm about halfway through the number properties book which means I still have 4 more math books to go including my biggest weaknesses Geometry.

I don't want to waste questions that I'm pretty sure I'll get wrong at least until I reteach myself the concepts but I don't want to get to the end of of studying the math books and then start to forget the concepts I've learned in earlier books.

Appreciate anyone's thoughts on this.

What questions are you talking about? Question banks of MGMAT? Official Guide by GMAC?

I'd take the questions at the end of each chapter to practice what u've learned before.. additionally you could attend the question banks provided by Manhattan in the online-studentcenter!

I do the questions at the end of each chapter for sure right now. My thought has to do with more so with actual question resources as in GMATClub Tests or the Manhattan question bank(not sure how many questions are in it), or Kapalan...etc.

I'm definitely saving the OG until I'm closer to taking full tests so that I don't waste it as a valuable resource, so this question is defintely focused on when to start taking non-OG questions.

Each MGMAT question bank has 20 questions with various levels of difficulty and I believe these banks are a good supplement for MGMAT guides, so defenitely consider doing them after each book.
Personally I don't think it's worth saving OG questions until some abstract date since by doing them you memorize concepts given in MGMAT books faster and more thoroughly.
Another point is that OG questions are much easier than GMATclub questions so it would be quite logic for you to do OG questions first and work on GMATclub tests only when you finish solving problems from other resources.

Excellent point by DaoEmo (Kudos, by the way). The main purpose of the OG questions is to reinforce the concepts learned from the guidebooks. Look for the section called "Official Guide Problems" in each MGMAT book to find out which OG questions to practice with after each chapter. Along with the online question banks from Manhattan, you should be ready to attempt the GMATClub tests after successfully completing the five math books.

Yeah I was just looking at the MGMAT questions and it says that you should take them after completeing each book so I'll definitely do that. I was looking at the 800score GMAT tests which are currently being discounted through Manhattan. Has anyone had any experience with those? Are they worth purchasing for the $20 to have additional questions/CATs to practice?

As far as the CATs are concerned, get the 6 Manhattan CATs :)
They are pretty good.

I have these since I purchased the MGMAT books. And I plan on using all the free tests I can that are out there. I was just curious to know if some of the companies that require you to pay for the tests...800 in particular since they're currently discounted through MGMAT...are worth paying for.
