Do you think there might be some inherent biased towards the degree or even nursing as well? As professions looked down upon by HBS?

I don't think there's any inherent bias or that those professions are looked down upon. The biggest thing for them is to understand your goals, your background, and why you're pursuing an MBA. All of this comes down to having a concise and coherent story to explain your MBA pursuit. If the story doesn't make sense or something doesn't add up, they'll sniff that out during their application review process. Also consider that it might just be that few pharmacists apply to HBS for an MBA. There's acceptance rate and then there's application volume.

Actually, I know of an HBS alum that is a pharmacist, but also happens to come from an emerging market with a very limited applicant pool and from a family that owns one of the country's leading Pharma companies. Why don't you try landing a gig in strategy at a big pharma like GSK, Pfizer and try applying in a few years.
