Thanks for the responses! I'll be sure to research further into those specific programs

old1442, congrats on full ride to stern. You mind sharing GPA/GMAT so I have an idea what it takes?

I would probably not be very comfortable to see Duke on that list. Don't have hard facts because Duke doesn't disclose them, but for what its worth - source

OP: schools do give people full rides and mostly it is merit based. You obviously won't need sponsorship if you get one of those. Further, there are a lot of articles that tell you about scholarships/fellowships and financing your MBA. Listing down a few:

Article 1 - Average Scholarships
Article 2 - Average Debt

And then there are great threads such as these:
Financing your MBA
3 years post MBA reflection (not related to financing, but interesting)

Explore a bit more and you should definitely get your answers! :)

It seems like Booth has been very generous with scholarship aid ever since it received its $300M naming gift. Sloan, on the other hand, is known for being pretty stingy with scholarship money (although theoretically you can reduce your tuition bill significantly through ample TA/RA opportunities).

Yea from the top 10, booth is def the most generous. By the way, id try to apply round 1 to all ur schools. Helps significantly as far as scholarships go

We could pull some of the data from the DB but I am not sure how representative that will be since I don't think many people enter their Scholarship info into the Applicant profile... I don't think it will be a good sample but I can do it.

One school which is reputed to be generous with financial aid which hasn't yet been mentioned is Tepper.

That number probably isn't representative; I was going more by posts and profiles.

Also, remember that some employers will offer to sponsor large portions of your MBA if you intern the summer between your first and second year. Sounds like you're not super in love with your current employer, but it may be worth investigating if the place where you want to end up has a sponsorship program for interns. I'm mostly familiar with consulting - but I know that many firms will offer a 50-100% coverage of your MBA program to interns so long as you return for 1-2 years after graduating. In the scheme of things, 2 years is a small price to pay for covering the full cost of your MBA.

Agreed. I've heard specifically that Deloitte does this for its S&O interns.
