that "dream work" will be hard from either schools, even harder because you are an international applicant and start ups and VC firms don't have the resources to hire an international student (visa issues). Sloan is a much better school, domestically and internationally, so I think you got to go there.

I would say Haas wins against both, at least on the west coast. Just my opinion.

First off, congrats!

My first reaction about B-School choices is to always choose the best school, especially if the rankings aren't even close...regardless of $. That's because prestige/brand/alumni networks are very important. Companies/recruiters/the wider professional world will look at you differently based on what school you choose. Sorry but it's just how it is.

However, I understand that as a international student, funding is very important. With that in mind, you can negotiate with Admissions boards for more $. I know this sounds nerve racking but understand that the ball is in your court and schools are very protective about their yield. They WANT you to come to their school, so the power dynamic has definitely switched. Have a professional but frank conversation with Admissions then wait. Hopefully they should get back to you shortly.
