Calling All 2015 Consortium Applicants Thread

let me know what they say... have the same thing going on. I might go to the conference but I can't do the consortium interview (wish schools would have more saturday options and maybe give themselves Monday off - so many folks that can't just keep taking off work).

I see interview invites went out for Ross. I didn't get one, so I guess that's a done deal. I do have a question though, how did everyone receive their invites? Did you get a notification in your personal email to check your consortium messages or did the school contact you directly?

The school contacts you directly by email. It's an email from an @umich.edu address. I think we got a special consortium version though.

yup same...coz I wasn't able to schedule an interview and I checked on the main ross site and they were able to

uGH - Yale R2 invites have started!!! any consortium folk get them? I'm just antsy bc i don't have logon info for any of these schools!

Just got another email from Ross, exactly like the first. But now my login works and I am able to schedule an interview. Hopes this helps

same here.. did anyone do an off campus interview? it would be nice to visit ross on the 21st but my work schedule just won't permit

I wish I could visit campus so badly, but i'm working overseas and it's a 24hr series of flights each way. At least they have off-campus interviews in person. I hate skype interviews with a passion!

I think you guys shouldn't worry if you can't make it to campus or a team exercise and have a good reason. The admissions committee seems to have a pretty good idea of who they want to admit and waitlist before the interview starts according to the interviews with Soojin Kwon. As with most things in the application cycle, the battle is won or lost before it is fought. If you bring the same great person to the interview that you portrayed in the application, i'd guess your chances are even better than the ~70% admission rate for people who have scored interviews.

Anyone hear from USC? That's the only school I haven't heard from yet (no acknowledgment or receipt of application) which I think is odd. Maybe they're overwhelmed with applicants?

Consortium FINALLY sent email that my apps were forwarded to the schools. hopefully, i know get login credentials and acknowledgements

I'm actually still waiting on that confirmation email.

Did they reach out to you and say something was missing? They emailed me saying they needed official transcripts no unofficial. I sent it to them Saturday, they were off Monday, and they got it Tuesday. I would call/email just to confirm that everything is okay. they are quite responsive. He did share that schools can still see your application even if it hasn't been submitted (which is how I ended up with a Ross invite).

Thanks for the info. I was in the same situation. I received the email requesting official transcripts on 1/14 I believe. I forwarded scanned images of my transcripts the following day.

I figured if I called they wouldn't respond, but I'll take your advice and make sure all is well.
