Have you all received an e-mail confirmation from the Consortium saying that your application was forwarded to the schools? I have an email confirming that I've submitted but no email saying that it has been forwarded. Have not heard from any of the schools directly (including UCLA and USC).

I did get an email saying that it had been released to member schools. The only school that I know has gotten it is Yale, since they sent the video essay link....

Hello all, I have a question about the consortium. I've have known a few East Asian and Indians who have applied and gotten membership, but their ethnic groups are not covered by the Consortium according to the requirements. As an Asian myself, I'm just curious how they grant membership? Thank you!

Hey wishingpraying. They specifically say that your race isn't an issue. There are Caucasians that receive membership to the Consortium. Instead, it's about your commitment to their mission of supporting African-Americans, Hispanics, and Native Americans in the business world. If you can show that, your chances should be just as good as anyone else.

However, you must demonstrate how you have supported the CGSM mission. For example, the CGSM founder ( https://www.cgsm.org/about-us/history/ ) did not belong to the organization's target URM.

Ross sends you an email when the consortium sends them your app. Look for an email with the subject line "New Application Received | Stephen M. Ross School of Business" I got my email on Jan 9. Still no word from Darden though.
