All the best to everyone who received the interview call..and thanks for sharing the stress by discussing in this forum.

Anyways, I feel that Stanford should change their way to inform candidates..it is not a good idea to keep us in limbo for a month (I mean the period they send out interview invites). I prefer schools that send invites at one short...
If someone is from Stanford here hope he or she can convey the message.

Been a silent lurker on the forum. Got rejected. I spent quite a lot of time, energy and money preparing my application. Although I am not happy with the result I accept it albeit begrudgingly. However, never to diminish anybody's stature or hard work, I think there is an element of luck involved in this process.

It was an honor to be apart of this journey,I will take Derek's advice and continue my journey elsewhere. Good luck to everybody with an invite.

You may have a point. I allowed myself to be seduced by the call of the West Coast :-D Now I am a statistic.
