Hi,
Greetings for great times ahead.
I wrote my GMAT exam few days back and I got 710 (q49 & v38). I am not really sure if that is a good score to get into the colleges I want. Besides, considering my profile and GMAT score I need to shortlist the schools for which I have best chances to get in. I can apply to maximum of 4-5 schools.
brief summary of my Profile.
1. Undergraduation from tier 1 Indian Engineering college with 6.9/10 GPA
2. Currently 3 years of work experience (Oracle Financial Services) but it will be 4 years by the time I get in for Fall 2017 session.
3. Working as a test analyst; An intermediary between the business and technical team. My role is to get the requirement from the business side of the investment bank (deutsche bank) and get it implemented on the technical side by assisting the technical team for the clarification of objects under implementation.
4. Other than this I have done 8 certification to improve my skills during my job in 3 years, which shows my consistent learning potential.
5. I have worked with an NGO for a year, As a volunteer for one of their project and another role as City Fundraising coordinator. NGO-BHUMI, India's one of the most youth volunteered NGO.
6. Got performance awards for my consistent performance in office
Expectations from MBA:
I want to move core financial role from the current analyst role in technical side. In longer run I want to end up in a leadership role in Investment/retail Bank. I am targeting to jump in banking sector from the services side.
Colleges I want to get in:
1. Booth School
2. HEC Paris
3. IE Spain
4. ISB hyderabad, India
5. Fuqua, Duke University
6. Rotman, Canada
Do I have the chances to get in the below ones:
1. Harvard
2. MIT
3. Insead
4. LBS
5. Stanford
I can choose 3 from the first list and 2 from the second list if I stand the chance in those. Please help
