Yes, how about you send me an interview invite instead of joint degree advertisements? I would love to pursue this joint degree, but it won't happen if I don't get into the MBA program!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well said my friend. For a moment I thought "could it be?". Pure evil! Just curious though, did anyone NOT get this email??

That was a double kick, for some reason I got the e-mail twice! I believed for a second, the second e-mail was an invite!!

From what I hear, interviews can come even 1-2 days before the deadline. So...who knows? For all of those (myself included) who are still in limbo on an invite, good luck. At least in a week the waiting will be over, regardless of our outcomes!

very slim chances of an invite now.. its practically over... though technically we may need to wait for another week for them to say it out loud!

Just as I was starting to accept not receiving an invite, this email brought back all my anxiety! Finally, a joint degree program I would love to pursue but I guess it won't be happening. Surely, I should not form part of the ad campaign anymore.

I agree, after getting the joint degree email, the peace I had made with not getting an interview invite deteriorated. I called the admissions phone number and listened to the recorded message about interviews. It says that interview invitations are currently being extended, and they will continue to do so through the decision date of March 27th.

Everywhere else (including a previous poster who called and talked to someone, I think) said interviews are extended til 1-2 weeks before the deadline. I'm not sure what to think, but the optimist in me wants to hold out a teeny glimmer of hope.

I keep wondering if the joint degree e-mail was targetted, but it looks like absolutely everyone received it.

I interviewed and waiting for the decision.
Im not really confident. My interview went super well but still I have the impression that it is not the most important aspect of your application (More focus on essays and recommendation letters)...

I thought I wouldn't stress about it but damn this is hard!

Yeah my interview didn't feel like it went very well. She kept it to 45 mins on the dot and the email said to expect a 1 hr interview. She seemed mildly positive but I didn't feel like I put my best foot forward--it was less of a softball interview than I was expecting. So... hoping that it's not weighted too heavily here. It doesn't seem fair to weight one person's snap judgment about you heavily relative to the word of reputable people who have known you and worked with you through thick and thin for 4 years.

I'm surprised there isn't more activity on this board right now--where are all the other stress cases?

I suspect its because so few people actually got interview invites. At least, that's what I tell myself as someone who didn't get an invite. :P
