Which online self-study program?

Which online self-study program? [#permalink] New post   27 Jan 2013, 20:54
I am scheduled to take the GMAT on 2/23. I am applying to several EMBA programs and have been working for the past 20 years. I want to take an online course to prepare. I plan to study each evening until the test. Which online course is best - Kaplan, Manhattan, etc? I did some practice Quant questions (haven't taken a free test yet) and found I'm rusty on some of the quant. I expect i will be strong in the verbal .... I know this is a tight timetable and not ideal - but I can't push the test back. Appreciate any guidance...

You may want to take a GMAT prep test before you start out so that you know which sections need maximum work since time is a constraint for you.

thank you. Given that I have about 3 weeks to prepare - I thought it may be better to buy the online proggram so I could watch a session each night vs. waiting for the next available class. I know Kaplan offes something like this. Does Manhattan or Gmat Pill have a similar product?

I have and use the comprehensive pill from GMAT Pill. When I am exhausted after a 10 hour day, I can still study by watching Zeke, the instructor, do some problems, very convenient! It is really good, but it is only a supplement for me.

IMHO you'll need to at least have the Manhattan GMAT complete strategy guides, or the Veritas Prep Complete GMAT course guides. I believe both of these companies have self-study options, but you may need to verify.

Thanks everyone. Can you tell me if the video content is accessible via the web or is it delivered via CD? And if web-based - is it flash supported? I travel extensively for my job so I am prepping at night in hotel rooms. I mainly working from my iPad while on the road. Sounds like silly questions I know - but Kaplan was "not sure" if they supported flash so this will be a big deal in my ability to access the content....

The on demand lessons are available on the iPad.

Scroll down to the icons of resources and put your cursor on 'ON-DEMAND'. Text on the left bottom corner tells you what on demand is and that these sessions will be available on iPad.
