Hello! Thanks for your response. I would appreciate a reply from the perspective of future returns for my time invested. If I choose to prepare for the GMAT then I am confident I can score very highly. whereas if I keep these classes I will not have nearly as much time to prepare. Also, given that I am entering a highly demanding field upon graduation taking the GMAT is more now or never for me as I feel like this is the best time for me to do it.

In regards to GPA fluctuations....actually my GPA can't fluctuate as I am completed with my actual coursework and could therefore drop all my classes now. The distinction I am trying to make is between this very small increase to gain Magna Cum Laude, and a significantly higher GMAT score with more prep-time.

Thanks so much!

In my opinion a GMAT score above 730 will overcome your GPA returns.
To add to this, the things which fall under "now or never" always be given highest priority. HTH

A 3.75 vs. a 3.74 would provide you with no measurable advantage in the admissions process in my view.
