ebonn101: How did you find out about the scholarship offer? Did they tell you over the phone or was it included in the information they sent to you? Just wondering. Congratulations!!!

Congratulations folks!! We've been debating whether it's more fun the night before acceptances come out or studying for our exam tomorrow here at Marshall. Bask in the glory and see you all @ Admit Weekend!

I know this is not the thread for it, but can someone direct me to where I can post a question regarding different neighborhoods MBA students live while attending USC?

I can help, I'm currently an MBA at Marshall.
People live all around Los Angeles. The most popular off the top of my head are downtown, Koreatown, Santa Monica, right near campus, and a few live near hollywood.
Obviously, where you live depends on: 1) How much you are willing to spend 2) How much traffic you are willing to sit through each morning, and evening (first semester at Marshall= 8am class 4-5 days per week, it gets bad if you don't wake up early) 3) How close you need to be to the beach 4) Whether you value apartment sq. footage or location more
I personally live near by. Can't stand traffic. If you need like more specific information like apartment complexes and streets and things like that, PM me and let me know what city you are interested in and I'll see what info I can get you.

Any R2 applicants receive an interview invite? I noticed last year's invites went out around this time.
Your invite will invariably come on the date that the Marshall Website says interviews will be released for R2. I'm pretty sure all in R1 went out on the exact same day.

Are you sure about this? I thought a few people already got interview invitations for R2, and last year they offered some around a week before their stated date. I'm hoping you're right, FWIW, bc I havent gotten anything yet.
