Well I found out some info. I just called the admissions office and asked them, and they said that today is just when they STARTED sending out invitations, and that it's possible that your interview invite could come anytime in the coming days as well. I asked what the end deadline would be for receiving that invitation email, and the lady didn't know. Hope is alive! Keep fingers crossed and good luck everyone!

I called admissions as well. They said only a portion of invites have been sent out, and they will be releasing more over the next week or so.

Maybe app volume in R2 is higher, I think most if not all invites went out on one day in R1.

Last year one of the people who got admitted off the waitlist got notification of her interview invite on Feb 27 (Feb 15th was the interview 'deadline' last yr too). So there's still hope.

If you look back at last year, there were several folks who received their invites a few days after the 15th...so I don't think the USC adcom is giving us false reassurance in saying there are still more to come :).

Yeah, I just went back to last year's thread and saw that invites were going out pretty inconsistent through the end of the month. Publishing the Feb 15th date is slightly misleading, but that's ok there is still hope!

I received my interview invitation from USC yesterday! I am very excited. I have two possible interview dates, March 2nd and March 24th, and an alternative option for a video interview.

Obviously it is most beneficial to visit the school again for the interview. However, does it make a difference if I choose the earlier or the latter date?

^ I'm not sure it really makes a difference, but I always try to go with the earlier option just so I can get it out of the way...

Hi Guys

I applied for the phd program (marketing) in the marshall university in jan 2012. I just sent my CV and unofficial transcripts, TOEFL and GRE scores for the university. I did not get any invitation email. However, I received an email from the marshall U. this is the main part of that email:
"Thank you again for applying to the USC Marshall Ph.D. Program. Your application has proceeded to Round 2 of applications' review, but a decision has not yet been made."

Now, I should send my official documents for them...

any information about the round 2 process?

Guys, other than USC and UCLA, who has the better MBA program in SoCal? Pepperdine or UCI or UCSD?

I think for sure Pepperdine is the worst out of those three. I think SD and UCI are the about the same.

Honestly, I don't think there's any significant difference between the 3 in terms of general reputation.
