Hi folks, Is there any preferred format to filling out the section that asks about parents? The question si something like: Quote: Please provide information on your mother and father. Please include name, address, colleges and degrees, positions and current employers (retired/deceased). thanks, ac.

It is self-explanatory: just write Mother: Mrs. Doe, 83 y.o, Professional Austronaut; Employer: NASA; Address: apt. 29399, 3098 Outtahere Drive, Philthydelphia; Keep in mind that whoever reads your application is a smart person, so fill the application out in a way that is both readable and easily understandable.

Is anyone planning to attend the Explore Wharton event later this month? Or did anyone attend the event last year? I already did a school visit earlier this year but it seem like a great event.

Here you go: 1) How long you have known the applicant and describe your relationship to the applicant? 2) How would you rank this applicant relative to his/her peer group? Please describe the peer group to which you are comparing this applicant (e.g., employees with comparable work experience and level of responsibility). 3) How would you describe the applicant's personal integrity? 4) What observations do you have concerning the applicant's leadership abilities, team and/or group skills? 5) How would you describe the applicant's sense of humor (seriously)? 6) What are the applicant's most salient strengths? 7) What are the applicant's weaknesses? What efforts has the applicant made to address these areas? 8) What do you see this candidate doing and achieving in 10 years? 9) Do you have any additional comments that you think would assist the Admissions Committee in making its decision? If yes, please elaborate.

Are there any re-applicants out there ? For reapplications, do we need to re-register ? I can't seem to re-start a new application from my last year's login.

My guess is that applyyourself deletes accounts after the app season is over. I know they delete accounts after a certain inactivity period.

Is there a recommended format for the uploaded essays -- double spaced, font size/type, include question before essay, etc?

No I can log in fine with last year's login credentials. However, once in the site, I dont have any means to reapply (I just see the submitted message for last year's essays). Seems like an awful amount of repeat work if I need to fill out all the basic stuff again. sonibubu wrote: bsd_lover wrote: Are there any re-applicants out there ? sonibubu wrote: Is there a recommended format for the uploaded essays -- double spaced, font size/type, include question before essay, etc? Do it the standard most accepted way: Times New Roman, double-spaced, 11 or 12pt font. You can add the question before essay in smaller size font/single spaced and in bold letters. It looks neat. The question will not be part of your overall word count for the essay. I remember that when you print out your pdf application the pdf generator adds a brief topic notation on top of your essay pages automatically in red bold letters. Something like: ESSAY ONE - GOALS.

You can register as many accounts with them as you want, and if your account is inactive for a period of time, they will delete it.

As some of you know, I'm a re-applicant to Wharton this year. I wanted to get your opinions on a decision I have to make concerning one of my essays.
Last year, I received very good feedback from Wharton on my leadership essay. I am considering using the same essay this year as I already know they liked it. Do you think this is a good or bad idea?
Thanks for any insight.

good luck everyone. I am close to done. Working on my 4th essay and need to tweak my third. It will be a sigh of relief to get the first app out of the way.
