Buddy,

Another good source of practice for the Verbal is the pool of questions in the GMATPrep practice test database. You will find the entire pool of verbal and quant questions posted here by user GMATClub user carcass: all-gmatprep-questions-quant-verbal-187679.html

I am glad the video explanations to the OG were of help.

Best wishes,

Dear Buddy Israel,

I am sorry to hear that you did not do as well on GMAT Verbal. I have a few questions for you:

Time Management
Going into the exam, what was your overall strategy for Time Management. Were you able to execute on that Strategy. On a side note, did you attend/watch the recording of Strategy Session 2.

Overall Ability and Takt Time
Did you calculate your ability and Takt Time in SC, CR, and RC. If so, then can you share the stats.

Quant
I can understand how poor performance in Quant can impact your Verbal. Have you looked at our Quant Live Prep course? Take the free trial if you have not.

Practice Questions
With 600+ fresh questions added to eScholar, you have ample questions for practice. However, before you start practicing, figure our your ability in SC, CR, and RC so that you can make a decision whether to focus on theory or to practice.

Don't give up. You will get there. Below is a debrief of one guy who improved from V19 to V38, scoring 710.

Dear Rajat

1) Time Management - I decided not to spend more than 1 1/2 mins on SC & max 2 mins on CR. Did have slots for the same: Q # vs Time. But everything went for a toss after the 9th or 10th Question where I got a 4 Para long RC followed by 1 SC and another RC. This was the breaking point as I never prepared for RC.

2) No I haven't calculated my ability and TAKT time - Would really like to learn how to calculate that. Can you pls provide the link for the same.

3) Quant - I will go through the modules.

4) Escholar- 600+ fresh questions added to eScholar. I would definitely like to practice this as I have exhausted OG material.

Thanks for the motivation and Im sure I'll improve in my next exam. Just taking few days off to clear my head.

Regards

Compromising accuracy for timing is not a great idea. Actually its a recipe for disaster. I recommend that you look at the recording of Strategy Session 2 below:

https://e-gmat.wistia.com/medias/na93uaomro

Make sure you understand

1. How to calculate your ability?
2. Pacing in mocks.
3. When and which questions to skip?

Let me know what your key takeaways are from the session.
