Check this comparison between 11th and 12th if you didn't see it before.

There may be a similar statistic for comparison between 10th and 11th somewhere.

Also, have you considered OG Verbal Review for more practice?

Completed OG11 and Verbal Review.
Inclined to do OG10, I actually used the document you just referenced to filter out the old questions from OG12; however I couldnt find any article/document that compared OG10 with OG11.

I emailed GMAC my querry, and this is what they said:

There is no known overlap between the Official Guide 10th edition and the
GMATPrep at this time. However, since it is an older version, there may be
some overlap. Thank you for your inquiry.

Sincerely,

According to people who attempted OG10 as well as GMATPrep & PowerPrep, report some overlaps but not that much.

Thanks a lot Atif ! +1 for you
The info in the link and the files attached doesn't address my 1st question : Is there an overlap between OG10 and GMATPrep? However, I did get some other valuable info such as an analysis of the question types in OG10 and the difficulty level of the problems. I have posted a response that I got from the GMAC rep, but I dont totally believe it. So I will have to check personally whether there is an overlap between the guide and Prep questions.

That's a nice idea and it would be great to share your findings here with fellow members.
In the second link, I think, there was a discussion about OG10 & GMAT Prep (but not in detail)
