They will start sending out decisions next week, according to some guy on BW.

Between the "waiting game" and trouble at work, I feel drained.

The INSEAD Newsletters I received today made me nervous. They should not send newsletters in the week before admission results ;)

From newsletter the question about 2008 employment statistics again came into my mind. Is there anything official from INSEAD yet? From what I have read in other forums the situation is not encouraging at all.

True, I just saw INSEAD in the headline and thought: That's THE email! But, still waiting ... :?

Regarding the placement reports, I have not seen anything officially yet. However, I just had a chat with an alum the other day and he told me that in the most recent newsletter/ update for the alumni they published some employment rates. Accordingly, 65% of the students graduated in 2008 found a job within 3 months of graduation. Not great, but I think still reasonable for this crisis ...

Thanks Hrubesch ... sounds decent to me given the current economic situation. However it will be interesting to know the breakups.

I have a hunch that reports will be out after 2nd round gets over ;-)

Hey Guys,

Just read the latest INSEAD newsletter where they mentioned about a cut-off 75%ile in each section- verbal and quant.
i have a 700 with 68% Verbal.
is that an automatic disqualification ?

Hey,

I believe INSEAD will look at your application as a whole. the 75%ile is a guideline for candidate to aim for and I guess if you have a lower score it can still be balanced by other stronger points in your application, eg. good GPA/grads or very strong experience, etc...
FYI, I got pre-selected with a 650 and a 58% Verbal...

Good luck.

No news yet, it's only 9.43am in France now... guess they would take some time to warm up and start making the calls. Probably start at about 10am France time ?
