hi,
my profile: french / engineering background & career switched 4 years ago into marketing & sales field/ aftersales area manager for a premium automotive manufacturer/ Gmat 710 / admitted at HEC and preselected at IE.

I'm R2 applicant for jan 2010, the interview notification is on the 3rd of july so I can imagine the adcom will start sending some invitations (or dings :( ) next week, as I could see some applicants receive it 3 weeks before the deadline.
Do anyone know what's the ratio admitted/interviewed this year? I often read or heard it was about 8/10. My pb is that i have to pay the 6000€ deposit for HEC within 3 weeks, and if Insead offers me the interviews invitation by this deadline, I'll have to decide whether I take the risk to reject HEC and save 6000€, and thus cross my fingers to be definitely admitted after the interviews.. It's a shame Insead is so long to give feedbacks.

I've applied from Singapore, so I guess considered among the 'Asians' but still nothing!!
I'm in france right now; it's 5.45pm already, I guess I'll have to wait till tmrw :(

I've sent an email to my coordinator updating her with a French phone number to reach me hopping it will accelerate the process for me but all I got was 'thank you, i'll update your file'.

Grr, getting stressed now!!

Dinged...very very surprising :?: Both my interviews went off well..I am in touch with both the alumni who conducted my interviews. I thought that if your interviews went off well you would either be selected or waitlisted but really surprised that even after good interviews somebody can be dinged :( Any thoughts?

Hi nerdboy: CONGRATULATIONS!!! Well, I was waitlisted at INSEAD. I have been accepted at Oxford and IE. I have to place a deposit at Oxford by June 28. My first choice is INSEAD. I would like to know what are the chances of getting accepted at INSEAD? Do they defer waitlists to their next class? Is it worth waiting and forego Oxford? My IE admission is good for 2 years.

As you know quite a bit about INSEAD, I am depending on yout advice. You can see more details at "advice needed for international school selection".

Can you guys please have a quick check on the system and see how many Tunisians/Algerians/Moroccans (esp. Tunisians) have been admitted so far? This would really help see how well diversity may play for me!

International exposure (though working in international teams & projects everyday - I have not lived in an english speaking country so far for a longer timeframe)

Actually I was very happy with my essays and I spent a lot of effort in them. I really do not fully understand the issues with my applications.
