no its not a fair assumption..
only 21 out of 144 indians in R1..the rest are persons of indian origin but residing in the US or Uk or Australia among others.

u might argue that 21 out of 144 is about 15%..but then last year there were 112 Indian students in both intakes..112 out of arnd 950..arnd 12%

so in retrospect there wud b arnd 35 more indians out of the 350 odd remaining seats

Ducceus and riseNshine - thanks a lot for the numbers.

144 admits seems a little lower than usual for R1 (Jan intake).

144 is the number of people who hv logged onto mba connect..there r still some who r travelling/busy etc who hv not yet logged on

Indians cannot have dual nationality. Born and bought up outside India is not really Indian. Anyways 21 or 31 is still a big number.
But then 1.2Billion out of 7B is also not a small number :lol:
