btw, 21 out of 144 people on MBA are Indian and 4 out of 144 are Singaporean if you are curious. There are a lot of dual nationality tho, so the number of Indian might actually be hgiher
add to that about 10 more Indians who hv a non-indian passport...lots of desis
31 out of 144 is a lot of indians. i know the soft-cap is debatable, but on a ballpark basis, i guess it leaves room only for about 20 more indian candidates from the remaining 360 seats.
is that a fair assumption?
no its not a fair assumption..
only 21 out of 144 indians in R1..the rest are persons of indian origin but residing in the US or Uk or Australia among others.
u might argue that 21 out of 144 is about 15%..but then last year there were 112 Indian students in both intakes..112 out of arnd 950..arnd 12%
so in retrospect there wud b arnd 35 more indians out of the 350 odd remaining seats
