If anyone has any statistics about the % accepted off UNC's waitlist or any related insight, it would be much appreciated.

Admitted!! Didn't even get an email yet but I checked status online. If you get a fellowship, will it say that in the "admission decision" section, or are they only verbal/in the official offer letter?

I'm waitlisted. I'll take it. If I don't make it this year, I'll make it next year, after taking a few quant courses and upping my volunteer work.

Im in!!! I got the e- mail few minutes ago, Im glad I got it, I applied in the 3er round.
BTW I got waitlisted at Duke y Ross, so at the end i think that i will keep Kenan as my top choice, i dont wnat to wait anymore, it has been a long journey for me

It looks like the fellowship decisions were released for round 3. Did anyone receive a fellowship?

I haven't heard anything yet. How do you know that they were released / released for everyone? All I know is that I received an email that said it could be 7-10 days until fellowships are released.

Did you receive one? If so, congrats!

On the portal and on the admitted students page it says the fellowship decisions were released today. One says via e-mail and the other doesn't indicate what method was used to notify the recipients so I wanted to double check on here before I got depressed about not receiving any money :)

Yep, looks like they have. Damn, I was really hoping for one!

It's for everyone who received any type of fellowship. I emailed today to make sure. My friend from R2 already applied. I wanted to make sure I still had time.

Thanks! So i guess it would be two of us plus others chasing the prestigious fellowship. See you on the battlefield :-D . By the way what exactly is the process for that - i mean interview or just reevaluation by a committee?

It starts with an essay about how you will contribute to the program. I'm not sure what happens after you submit. Good luck or may the odds be ever in your favor. Lol. #hungergames
