hmm...would be good to find out at the same time, but I read somewhere that fellowship information is sent a week after the decisions have been mailed out..

You're correct: 7-10 days

https://www.kenan-flagler.unc.edu/admissions/mba/tuition-financial-aid/merit-fellowships :
UNC Kenan-Flagler Fellowships
Each year we award fellowships based on the following criteria.
A superior record of achievement in academic and career settings
Diverse experiences
Strong leadership potential and interpersonal skills
The process is easy.
No need to apply
Complete application for admission by the January deadline to be automatically considered upon admission
Fellowship decisions mailed 7-10 days after decision release for each deadline
All students, international and domestic, considered for fellowships

Admitted, pretty excited I'll likely be in the Triangle.

Same thing here. I got the Saturday call from my interviewer- Didn't answer because I was working on GMAT prep, as my old score expired a week or so after the application deadline! (talk about JIT)!

That is correct. I am a first year KFBS student and I received my fellowship offer approximately 8 days after I was admitted.

As per the webinar last Friday, the scholarship/fellowship offers will go out on Monday 17/12. 33% of students receive them, but I would assume the EA folks receive them at a higher rate.

Hey Prudence. I need to do the same. Whom did you write to?

I am taking up the offer from BU so one more person will be getting off the waitlist :)

There's an admission response form on your application. Just curious, why Boston over KF?

Seriously, Fiancehopeful, if you are asking that question you shouldn't apply to KF or any of the schools you have listed.

Re: Kenan-Flagler (UNC) 2013- Calling all applicants [#permalink]
I'm applying either Round 2 or 3 pending a good GMAT. I had a question though:

I am applying through the Consortium and UNC is one of the Consortium schools, however, I saw on a thread from last year that UNC still requires you to complete the UNC application along with the Consortium. Does this mean you still have to do all of the essays required by the UNC application or do you only have to do one specific essay for UNC through the Consortium application?

@nktdotgupta: I called The Consortium and they confirmed that I do NOT have to fill out the UNC application in addition to The Consortium. Thank God!
