I am wondering why havent had used when comparing.
Like Rousseau had, Tolstoi rebelled against the unnatural complexity of human relations in modern society.
Well this was the picture in my mind for comparisons. As this structure was not present in the options, i started looking for the possession form and landed with the wrong option E. Can someone help me find the flaw in the logic i was using?
have/haven't can't be used here because "like"is introduced in the beginning .Like is used to compare the nouns. Here, we are comparing Rousseau and Tolstoi, but not comparing the way they fight.
