Re: Georgetown - McDonough (2013) - Calling all applicants [#permalink]
Made my decision - will matriculate at McDonough for the class of 2015. Looking forward to meet everyone in August.

For folks that have already matriculated, did you just order an official transcript from your undergrad (my undergrad univ is in US) and requested the school to send it to GTown directly? Is that what they mean by "official academic documents"?

Congrats on the decision. Yes, just have your undergrad office send the transcript directly.

IS there a way to find out how many people are on the waitlist and how many are actually matriculating?

The waitlist isn't ranked, so I don't think the number of people on the waitlist is relevant. From what I gather, the exercise of picking people from the waitlist is influenced by various factors. What could influence the probability of a positive outcome for you is the number of people on the waitlist whose work experience and stats/demographics are very similar to yours.

I don't think the number of people matriculating will be officially published until after term starts. I think the deposit deadline for R3 was June 1. If so, it's probably safe to assume that most of the class is filled up by now and there'll only be a handful of additional acceptances between now and August.

Sure it is. Now that I think about it here's my take. Gtown isn't an Ivy League to warrant an invest of 75k per year, not to mention the foregone salary of let's say 80k per year. Is it really worth it? Do people make atleast 130k after graduating from this school? What's your opinion?

Someone on the forum got off the waitlist a couple of days ago, would be great if he or she could share some more information on the same, it will be 7 months since I got on to this wait-list

Did those who didn't get in receive an email asking them to re-apply?
