Hi! Just as chains said. The experience was awesome. Students both current and prospective seemed smart and easy-going. The alumni network is not as broad as a top 10, but I would point out that they are currently making it easier to contact alumni from other Georgetown schools and programs at target companies. Contacting professionals in target companies who graduated from McDonough undergrad (ranked much higher) and the School of Foreign Service (best in the world) is an option, thanks to new efforts by the Career Center. I am already enrolled.

I was wait-listed after an interview in R2. I submitted the additional essays and recommendation on the 1st April deadline but have not received any acknowledgement yet. I did get a response from the admission team stating that they have been flooded with mails and will take time to reply. Anyone else in the same boat? I would also like to reiterate the message of one the people above that those have been accepted at Georgetown but going elsewhere intimate the admission team. This will help people like us in a long way as I believe that deposit deadline is in May!

I was wondering when the deposit deadline for R2 candidates is? The R3 decision notification date is May 15th, so I'm guessing before that..

Damn...I guess that means I'm most likely not getting an interview invite.

I was contemplating it until this week, but ultimately decided to decline. Like I said in my review post, there is a lot to love about the program, but it ultimately isn't the best move for me right now. Best of luck to those of you who do matriculate and to those currently on the waitlist.
