I am applying in round 3. Any idea, what are the chances in round 3?

I had all my application sent in on time and my last recommender went on vacation and couldn't sent the letter on time. I hope this doesn't take me back to the next round...

I believe for Mays Business School, round 3 should be good chance. As there are four rounds in Mays unlike most other schools, I think Round 3 in Mays will not be as competitive as Round 3 in other schools where it is the final round for international applicants.

I am not sure buddy...less than 2 yr is a tough shot if you do not have a thrilling application..!! A frnd of mine with 3 years of exp and 760 in GMAT got dinged..!!

Did you receive any interview invite from Mays? I did not hear anything from them, when is their decision mailing date? Not sure about the status of my app yet...kind of tensed

I have not received any interview invite as of now. Mays is always very selective of sending invites. Most probably we will get to know by 1st of March.

McCombs is a great college. Congrats. Why are you worrying about Mays then? Anyhow I do not think they have sent an invite to an Indian applicant yet..!! Gyan

Hi Guys,

Any Round 3 interview invites for Indian Applicants. Have submitted my application on 15th jan and no communication from Mays yet.

When is the Round 3 decision deadline. Getting really tensed with all the waiting..

Round 4 deadline was 1st March! I sent a mail to them asking about the delay in decisions. This is what they replied " Please note that you may check the status of your application at any time during the admissions process via the online application system that you submitted your application on. The system is also set up to automatically generate an email to your specified address anytime there is a change in your application's status. This is the busiest time of year for our office, and we are trying our best to process all applications in a timely manner. Should you have any further questions, please contact us at ftmba@tamu.edu. " I was not sure what to say, most probably they will evaluate us together with the round 4 applicants. No other explanations

If y'all are awaiting your decision in a hurry because of another admit you can ask them to expedite it, they did it for me. I was an early round tho, so it might be different now. Good luck guys!

P.S. This thread is very quiet this year compared to last years.
