I see many here got interview calls. But i didn't. Any international applicants got the interview call (R2)?
I am tensed a bit. My GMAT is 690 and submitted my app on 4th

I'm international and I got an invite for R2 interview within 5 business days. I wouldn't stress out though, 690 is still above average at McDonough and they have a lot of applications to go through, even if they're just skimming them pre-interview.
A couple of days ago I got an email from Georgetown stating that they have extended the deadline for me. I can send my application within this Sunday instead. Do you know how common this is? It certainly seems like my profile, and perhaps I can have a chance to get a scholarship? Who knows

OK, so I decided to submit my application today. It was a little hectic finishing the essays, but I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. Now I hope I can join you guys who have been invited to interview.
I highly doubt that Georgetown had time to go over all the application, essays and recommendations before inviting us for the interview. My guess is that they are calling us based upon certain filter as mentioned above and it seems GMAT>=700 is that threshold (maybe lower like 680). It seems, they have made interview a bigger part of filtering candidate (as oppose to second level of filtering for most other school).

I'm not so sure. Over at BTG, 14/86 applicants in the 2nd round have reported being invited to interview. Of the 14, seven have GMAT scores under 680. Three of those have GPAs under 3.0. Also, not a single Asian invite yet.
It seems everyone is getting invites..i didn't...i guess they have not went through all the applications...I'm from India. Anyone from India has got invite till now?

Good stat. And the plot thickens..It's not just by location/GPA/GMAT score. Then did they really have time to go over our applications? Dun-Dun-Dun!!
Hi, I am international and have received an invite for a f2f interview. The deal is, the city where they are conducting the interview is over 1000 miles away from my place. My question is - is it worth travelling and spending so much for a 30 min facetime? Or will it be ok if I request for a skype interview instead?
I haven't really used this forum before but have been on btg, well anyway, I applied to R2 as well and got the invite to be interviewed last Friday. I had to schedule a Skype interview because Im an international applicant from Australia and their reps werent travelling here. I was wondering what the interviews were like? and what % that gets interviews receives admission offers?? the numbers between here n btg seem to vary by a huge degree?!!!

I'm not sure about McDonough but many schools seem to put a bit of weight on you putting the effort to come see them in person during the admissions process. I also live over 1000 miles from the closest interview city to me (SF) but I'll be flying out to DC to do a campus visit/interview. If you're not sure about McDonough it could be worth it if you throw a campus visit in there with the interview.
Im an Indian. I got an interview invite too. Profile: GMAT 740, Electrical Engineer, Male, WE: 3.5 years in heavy engineering. I have scheduled my interview on 2nd Feb in New Delhi.
I'm booked for Feb 5th interview in LA and Feb 6th campus visit in DC. Seeing as all my other schools have been silent so far, it's looking more and more like I'll be heading to McDonough next year so I thought it'd be worth the visit. Good luck everyone in your interviews!
Seems like a lot of interview invited went out. Does anyone know if they send invites until a certain point? Are a lot of people still waiting to hear?
