This thread needs some energy! Only 10 days until acceptance calls start going out!

I'm sure there's already a fair number of Kelloggonians, Fuqua-ites, and Stern...people who have made up their mind, and they will all be going to fantastic schools in the fall. However, I'd like to add here that one way I feel Darden distinguishes itself from the pack is its human touch. My interview was by far the most enjoyable and relaxing I've had, and every time I've had to contact Darden (which has been quite often with their ubiquitous IT problems) my queries have been met with a fast and friendly response. I think Darden understands that culture permeates all departments, and I would be more than excited to be making the trip to Charlottesville this summer.

hey PMK, put me up for R1 applicant as well, interviewed last january 14. nothing to do now but wait until jan 28.

quick profile: applied with 660 GMAT, entrepreneurial + P&G background. my GMAT now is at 730, but on R1 application, it was 660. i'm not happy with my phone interview (they couldn't get anyone to interview me in manila), but still hoping for the best.

yes, applicants are the ones to initiate the call. not darden.

what i found weird was that i know of at least 4 darden alums in my city (manila) and yet they asked me to phone in... couldn't they get their alums to help out?

Anyone have an idea when R2 people can expect invites? I realize it probably won't be until after R1 decisions are released, but any idea how soon after?

I would periodically check Sara Neher's blog on the admissions website. For R1 she did a really good job of keeping us in the loop on the timing of interview invites through it.

wow ... Sara Neher's blog says that interviews are still going out for R1 and they still haven't finished reading files.

For what it is worth, my friend who applied r2 just received an interview invite.

Did your friend apply R1 or R2?

I can't view the video blog since I'm at work, but the intro paragraph says:
