If it's any consolation, I had my on-campus interview last November, and my status still says "Submitted."

Hahahahaha! You guys have to use this link to check status: https://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/pro ... tatus.aspx

For whatever reason Kellogg updates this instead of the application page.

Yes, that is the one that I've been using. Mine still says:

Thank you for your interest in the Kellogg School of Management.

After Part II of your application has been submitted, the next update will confirm whether or not all application materials have been received. Due to the high volume of applications that are submitted near the application deadline, please allow several weeks of process time for our staff to match all materials sent under separate cover and to verify all required items have arrived. As applications are processed daily, we recommend periodically checking the status between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, Monday through Friday.

Hasn't changed since I hit the "Submit" button.

Applied R2, but interviewed R1. I just called the office. They are in the process of checking all the apps. They will be complete by the end of next week.

Thanks for the info! One thing I am a little concerned about is the fact that Kellogg has semi-rolling admissions, so I'm hoping that there aren't any glitches in my application that would cause it to be read at a later date than is expected.

Why would you say they are semi-rolling admissions? There is nothing to indicate that they process the applications on a FIFO basis. The only difference I see is that they release decisions as they make them, instead of making them and waiting until a specified date to inform people.

Question for those attending DAK this weekend (or those who have previously attended one):

I know that there is some sort of thing downtown with a "business casual" dress code.  However, I also have heard the suggestion for men to wear "jackets".  I am horrible at getting this sort of dress classification right, so what is the norm for guys to wear for this event?  Dress slacks, button shirt, sports coat, no tie?

Thanks!

I don't think Kellogg dinged people off the waitlist until the summer waitlist. So at the start of summer they will shrink the WL pool. But I think that's the only time they do.

Thanks for the info! Does this mean that they will start sending out decisions starting next week?

Completed my interview this week ... it was via phone instead of on-campus because of this damn snow and cancelled flights.

Overall ... it was ... eh ... ... standard questions but I don't feel that I executed well.
I'm trying not to talk myself down too much, but I generally do much better in-person than on the phone. I think I rambled a bit at some parts and didn't remember to say a lot of what I had wanted to. Oh well, I'm hoping that it didn't hurt my chances too much.
