Interviewed today on campus and was told decisions are rolling. Is this true? I thought everyone found out around the same time frame.

Add me to the roll call

I heard from my source today too that decision is rolling. Expect the unexpected in the coming weeks.

That's what I've heard, too. However, looking at last year's thread, they don't start sending out decisions until mid-late February. So I'm not exactly sure how that works.

Pls add me to the R2 roll call

part 1 on 11/25

Part 2 on 01/01

Got interview waiver on 01/07

Got telephone interview request on 01/25

Completed telephone interview on 01/28

They mentioned to me that they would be conducting telephonic interviews for couple of weeks upto 5th Feb. I am an applicant for the 1Y program so not sure if it is just for this program or for all programs. After the interview, the application will be reviewed by a student member of the Adcom, the program co-ordinator and the dean, admissions. This on an average takes 4-6 weeks, but could be longer. (This is what they told me)

Best of luck to all

Thank you, Kellogg Office of Admissions, for sending me an email about your Super Bowl ad reviews. My heart didn't jump out of my chest when I saw an email from the Office of Admissions or anything like that. FAIL.

Yea, just got that, too. Even with your warning, my heart still skipped a beat.

I have a doubt regarding the Kellogg application process.

My interview have been waived (international applicant - Indian), and I read everywhere on this forum as well as other forums that my application will not be reviewed until interview is completed.

Am I right in assuming that adcom will not read my essays/application part 2 until my interview is complete?

But that means until unless adcom reschedule a telephonic interview for me, they will not read my application . However, there should be some basis (without the application part 2, which is not being read) to re-invite me for the telephonic interview.

I'm kinda confused. Can someone please elaborate on this?. Do Kellogg admit candidates w/o interview also. If I will not be invited (as my interview is waived) for interview, they will not even read my essays and other things (as my application will not be reviewed) and they will give a decision as such.

To me this seems absurd, or am I missing something.

Of course they are going to read your application. Relax, this is not in question. If they feel an interview is "critical to an admissions decision" they will do their best to schedule a telephone interview with you.

My understanding is that every admitted student has been interviewed, be it an in-person or a phone interview. This means that you will not be admitted unless you've had an interview.

I read in one of their adcom blogs that they also admit people for whom they had waived the interview. So if you applicaiton is great in itself then you might not need an interview et all.

My understanding is that if you're international and they cannot find alumni close to your location, they will waive the in-person interview; however, if they're interested in your application, they will still want to conduct a phone interview before they will admit you.

I could not attach a scanned copy of my gmat score at the time of submission.
But I had officially reported the score to the school during my gmat test.
I just received my gmat paper score. Should I scan and email it to the adcom or is it fine to leave it?

Double-check the application. I seem to remember them saying in the app that a scanned copy wasn't required but would expedite the process. Could be another school though...

for interview question like : What is the primary weakness in your application.

What would be an appropriate ans?

while i can certainly bit*h around for things like gmat etc on my app but it is not that bad. my gmat is 700, gpa is 3.9 and age is 28, I have ok WE and ECs. I am having real hard time in contructing a good response to this question.

any suggestions?
