please add me for round 2 - interview completed last wednesday.

my status still hasn't changed on the check application page and I had my interview a week ago. It still says "After Part II of your application has been submitted, the next update will confirm whether or not all application materials have been received....."

Anyone else in the same boat? should i call the admissions or is this normal for kellogg?

I think a lot of people are in that boat. I would wait it out, they have only had apps for a few weeks and it looks like they've been busy taking people off the waitlist.

Grats to those who were admitted off the waitlist! Perhaps that's somewhat indicative of the relative weakness of the R2 applicant pool?

Probably more of an indication of them either a. guessing that the yield would be higher than it was for R1 or b. Guessing that there would be more applications than there were for R2.

I submitted part 1 on 18th Dec but still haven't recd an interview invitation or waiver.
I submitted part 2 well in time on 14th Jan.

Till when should I wait before sending them an email?
The email says 8 weeks but I'm gettin really anxious now as they don't even start reviewing the app
until the interview is done/waived off.

First off, congrats. Second,that's really interesting that AdCom is admitting waitlist students off the prescribed 4 dates as stated on the Waitlist FAQ page.

uclakevin, could you share your profile and what you did once you got the waitlist notification? did you send in updates to your waitlist manager? i am on the WL as well and am anxiously waiting to hear from Kellogg -- any insight would be greatly appreciated :)

male / 26 / consultant / 720 gmat / ucla undergrad (obviously) / 3.6 poli sci / want to stay in consulting

after i got the waitlist notification, i spoke with my waitlist manager (just called and they told me someone was assigned to my file). the manager told me to send in a letter affirming my interest in kellogg and, if i had any relevant updates, to include those as well. i was just given two new leadership posts so i was able to briefly discuss them (whole letter was less than one page).

timeline:
interview - 11/6
waitlist notification - 12/18
sent in update letter - 1/10
admitted - 2/2

Thanks! I missed the R2 interview selection date and thought they were going to waive my interview. I just got a notice that I need to contact an alum to setup a off-campus interview. That caught me off guard a little.

Guys, is there anyone from R2 who got interview waiver and received phone interview invitation recently?

I am asking cause I got waiver on 21 JAN and from then there is still no phone interview invitation. It's making me a bit nervous...
