I have a question - if I submitted both my Part 1 and Part 2 application for Round 2 on Jan 14, do I need to call to schedule an interview on campus or will they invite me to interview if they're interested??? I am so confused. Thanks!

You have to take the lead here, and fast:

To request an on-campus interview: Select the on-campus interview request box in Part I and submit by the deadline designated ... Allow two business days before calling the admissions office at 847-491-3308 to schedule an oncampus interview. Appointments may fill up four to six weeks in advance.

Contact the Kellogg Admissions Office to schedule and complete
your interview by Mar. 05, 2010

Thank you!

FYI pudge, the deadline to submit part 1 for an on-campus interview was December 18. Keep this in mind when you call, might want an explanation locked and loaded. "I was confused" probably isn't what they want to hear...

I think Dec 18 was the deadline for off-campus interviews, right? The deadline for on-campus interviews was the same as the Part II deadline.

Those who have recently visited the campus:

Do you know what are the good classes to attend during your visit? Any great professor that I should try first? perhaps in strategy or enterpreneuship?

thanks in advance

You don't have much in the way of choice. The list of classes from which you can choose is there when you arrive. They do make an effort to offer the better professors, if possible, for obvious reasons. As for who the good profs are, you're better off asking current students/alum.

I visited a strategy class on a Friday this quarter. The professor was low energy but his presentation was clear and he made interesting points.

BusinessWeek Chat Transcript:

https://www.businessweek.com/bschools/co ... 683329.htm

Anyone read this line.

"BrianM: Can you compare and contrast the number of applications you've received this year vs. last?

BethFlyeKellogg: Our applications are slightly up compared with this time last year. There are no dramatic differences between the rounds thus far and the quality continues to be strong."

Hi, guys! I'm a Kellogg applicant for Round 2/Russian/GMAT 710/TOEFL 107/6 years in Travel Business

I got an off-campus interview waiver from Kellogg and awaiting (hopefully) an invitation to phone interview.

The volume is a little surprising, I think most people expected it to drop off a bit from last year.

As for class visits, based on what classes are open for visitors this quarter I'd recommend one of the finance courses Prof. Peterson is teaching or marketing with Prof. Hennessy.
