Dinged. This really really hurts, as LBS was my first and only school - really wanted this program (and London too for personal reasons). Still in a state of shock, as most of the feedback I had was that my overall profile was interesting, gmat scores were good enough (which clearly isn't all that important for LBS I guess). My interviewer said he'd given me a very good recommendation as well. I was hoping for an admit next year but that's completely out now - not even an invitation to reapply.
Serves me right for putting all my eggs in one basket. Time to pick up the pieces and start fresh rounds of application for 2011.
The LBS waitlist really is a dangerous game, given how late the list is maintained vs. the course commencement. From this forum and BW, there doesn't seem to have been much movement from the WL which potentially means the number of deferred admissions might turn out to be low as well.
All the best to JV, vodkacran and a11c99 - hope you guys make it!
good luck man!
i recommend to reapply in any case, shows school your determination.....
your gmat score is indeed quite good (as per your info also interview). i don't know how much work experience you have...also it is important to have accurate and very individual/ exhaustive recommendations....
in london there are couple of good bschools, for mba and other masters (finance/mgmt) sometimes with open enrollment, so still time to apply....eventually u can also apply to insead jan 2011 intake....
cheers
