Thanks mshrek. I think active is another word for the phrase "I cannot help but come back to this forum every five minutes even at work" :P

I am sure neo will have his reasons but for me, the main reason is quality of LBS people I have met. Through some common links, I have spoken to several LBS alumni and a few current students as well and they were all so willing to help and guide. Plus, you have to give credit to the location here. It attracts some special people plus an easy access to recruiters is a great advantage.

I so totally missed out on this post. My bad. :|
I chose because of high average age / work exp, location (proximity to VCs and Investors) and brand name (since I'll be going back home). Unlike Applicant1221 I wasn't fortunate to come across LBS' students/alums who were willing to help or guide. However, LBS admissions office was very prompt and dealt in a professional manner. I have not made any final image about the student community / culture yet, as my bad experience could be because of non-representative sample i.e. the ppl I came across might be the few who aren't really happy to be at LBS.

Yup. The invites tend to go out 1730 onwards. (Based on the threads of 2014 & 2012.)
And also on the website it is mentioned, "All decisions are sent out via email on the relevant stage decision deadline. Please note that decisions are occasionally sent out late into the evening GMT. "

I have to try hard to concentrate on anything else but LBS. And clearly, as evident from this post, it is not working. Resistance is futile, my friends. Lets all join virtual hands and pray for each other. :P

Hello all,
does someone know, which resume format I should use? As you know, there are big differences between the U.S. and European resume format.
So I already checked out the related topics here. Does someone have a resume sample for me which helps. Unfortunately the most of them here on this site are not very old.

Attended the LBS Boston Information Session.. It was well organized and pleasant.. Though many MBA alumni in the area couldn't make it to the event at British Consulate, current MBA students doing their semester exchange at MIT Sloan gave decent idea about whats it like to do an MBA at LBS. There were alumni from MiM and MiF programs as well.

I'd suggest the format from Tuck's or MIT's website...
And totally keep your resume within 1 page unless you've got really awesome things to share or your experience is more than 10 years.
