Has anyone got an Interview invite for R1? I got an email few days back stating "Your file is complete" but no information on Interview.

I'm waiting, too :) I got the same mail telling that interview invites (or rejections) would come in a few weeks from the deadline.

The interview was really typical (walk me through your resume. Why MBA? Why now? What type of leaders are you?...) with one or two trickier questions (such as tell me about a time you dealt with ethical dilemma) and conversational. In fact, the interview lasted 40 minutes, of which the first half the interviewer asked me and the second half she answered my questions. You should do your homework carefully and ask a lot of good questions. I feel that worked for me :)

I everyone, I have received an admit to the Neeley School of Business class of 2019. Is there a https://gmatclub.com/chat group for the admitted students? I am planning to accept my offer and pay my deposit. If you want I can create a https://gmatclub.com/chat group for the students planning to take up the admission. Please PM me your numbers. We can create a group.

what did they ask you in the interview? do you think they look for a high gmat score? thanks.

Hi.. My interview was very conversational. Mostly stuff from my resume. It was very relaxed and nice honestly. My gmat score is 700, but their average is 640, I guess. So I am not sure if they prefer a high score for internationals as such.

one last question, does an mba really helps with new job opportunites? thanks.

Sorry for the late reply.. Yes an MBA definitely helps with new job opportunities.. People choose to do an MBA to get new job opportunities or get a step up in their existing job opportunities. You can definitely look at shifting industries and job function after your MBA. All the best!
