I request all applicants to add UT Dallas MBA program to your MBA timeline so that the applicant stats displayed in the first post reflect true picture of admissions. While adding the program, MAKE SURE you are setting it for graduation year i.e. 'Class of 2019'.

For alumni interview, be prepared to answer questions based on your resume, professional experiences and the need for an MBA.
In admissions interview all the usual questions are asked nothing out of the normal, mine lasted only 22 minutes.

Hi,

Please help me by answering few questions.

1.) Did you send the official GMAT score and the required official transcripts to UTD address?
2.) My application status is coming out to be pending for not submitting the above documents? Did u face the same?
3.) I submitted my application before the first deadline and have not received the interview call yet. Have I been rejected?

Yes i did send the official gmat score, but official transcripts are not required till your admission is finalized. For enquiring about the status of your application, either drop a mail to their id or give them a call. I gave them a call whenever i needed any information, they were very helpful.

1. I did my bachelors in India. How do i convert my marks to GPA for the application?
2. What is the recommended number of words for the application essay?

I would advice you not to convert your marks into GPA. Report your score as it is.
For essays, I think 500 words was the limit

Na Man! As weird it may sound, I have been unable to connect with any other admits of UTD MBA program. I even contacted admissions office regarding this but they too said that there's no such group for the time being.

BTW congratulations on the admit mate!
