Hey guys, I applied for the MSc Economics for the second round and the status is still under consideration.....anyone who applied in second round receive any updates ? How come MSc Finance sends decision so quickly :-(

I applied for MIB/CEMS in the second round and received an assessment invitation yesterday (this program requires interview), but the application status still shows "...being considered."

Anyone got an invitation to the CEMS assessment center as well?

No, the AC/interviews are just for IB/CEMS and it's mandatory. Once enrolled in Finance/Econ/other programs (without AC/interviews) you can additionally (your own decision) apply for the CEMS program, that's right (and you will have the same AC later then).

Hi guys !

I am glad that some of you are already getting offers !

I also applied to the MSc Finance and Economics in the second round, let me share my profile:

GRE 162Q 160V 4AWA
High 2:1 in top 5 UK uni in Economics (dont know how to convert that on a 4 point scale GPA)
No relevant work experience or extracurricular activities.

Not too sure about my chances, my GRE score is equal to the average one for these programms, but nothing stands out in my application. We ll see.

So you guys think they send offers by waves ? 1 wave/ per month ?

CEMS office requested us to reply the invitation no later than Feb 11, so my guess is you still have the chance if someone turns down the invitation. Good luck! :)

Does anybody know the class size of the finance master? And the number of applicants for those places? I hate waiting.......but with my 650 GMAT I don't expect much :(

Did anyone of you register with universityadmissions.se?

Because the admission office at the SSE told me that I do not have to. But I read in the thread from last year, that a bunch of people did.

Do you have information on that matter?

Yeah I met one representative from the admission office when they were touring through Europe, even though I am swedish, and I remember they mentioned something about it. Haven't got a clue why though..

Hi everyone,

I have read through the forum and have not found anything on accounting and financial management. Has anyone been admitted to that program or has any other information?

Also, when studying in Sweden, is it possible to work and study at the same time (i.e. is it common amongst the students)?
