Hi everyone,

I have read through the forum and have not found anything on accounting and financial management. Has anyone been admitted to that program or has any other information?

Also, when studying in Sweden, is it possible to work and study at the same time (i.e. is it common amongst the students)?

Everything is possible, just comes down to how important good grades are to you and on your acceptance ;).

On a more serious note, I know a few that work while studying at SSE. But they perform averagely...

guys I have a problem now......received an offer from Hong Kong U days before and they asked me to make deposit (which is quite a lot money....) on March 10. Do you think I could ask SSE admission to give my decision earlier (so that I can probably reject HKU)?

Very unlikely. But you should have time since SSE sends decisions on 9. march. So if you make your deposit in the evening it should be there on the 10. ( to be sure make the transfer by express)

Last year sse released their decision in the end of march and this year already at the 9th. Do you think they received less applications?

Thanks for the answer xellent120!

Well last year, if I am not mistaken, they handled the applications via universityadmission.se. They might have been able to go through the applications faster by doing it themselves. On the other hand, they accepted late applications this year. Not sure if they did the same last year.

No this year is the first time that they accept late applications. I used the opportunity to apply for msc economics as well, since i got a bit concerned about my finance application.

To me the faster application handling (we are talking minus two weeks) and the fact that they accept late applicants for the first time are indicators that we might get lucky und the competition is not as intense as in the past years. We will see.

Blacchollywood:

Don't click on "Status". Click on "Application" and then on your specific degree. On the right, there is a little box where I can accept or decline my offer (M.Sc. Business & Mgmt, spec. in Mgmt).
(My status still says "...being considered" though. So I guess they are still updating their systems...)
