Well, I'd just like to say hi to all my fellow T'16 waitlisted applicants, really hope the best for all of you (and of course, to myself), and am looking forward to meeting you if not this year, the next in Tuck!

another waitlistee here

I just sent back a reply email confirming my place on the waitlist and got an automatic reply saying to confirm my place within two weeks. Is my first email enough?

trying to decide whether to try other schools round 2 or just to wait it out with tuck/reapply next year if it doesnt work out

Not really, but if you decide in the end to attend another school regardless of the WL final decision you should let Tuck know so they stop considering you.

Is writing to AO for some updates a good strategy? (new project, leadership experiences.. etc.)

Some analysis I performed on Tuck Admits & the Tuck Waitlist (sorry for some reason the stats and real data aren't matching up). The "probably" sections are strict ratios from actual results.

Has anybody gotten some early feedback? Figured there might have been some given the deposit deadline that passed for Early Action last week

November round WL here. Since I was WL w/o interview (I didn't know something like this would actually happen), I sincerely hope that I get my interview invitation soon from WL manager.

Hi everyone,

I am a November round applicant from Korea - I was devastated when I didn't receive a "Happy Call" from Tuck (I really wanted that call) and just couldn't face the hard fact that I got dinged, being busy at work with an overseas business trip did somehow got me not thinking of Tuck.

I finally pulled myself together today to log-in and read the "ding" message after a week...To my happy surprise, I have been WAIT LISTED :)

I am so excited that I am still in the pool. Hope the best of luck to everyone who got wait listed....

I really hope that I eventually received that "Happy call" from Tuck.

In general, people will be pulled from the waitlist around the decision deadlines for the other rounds. It helps them understand how the class is shaping up. A chunk of us were converted to acceptances in May, but it did run all the way through July. I personally have two great Tuckie friends here who were notified on July 3. One of them was driving across the country to start a different MBA program when he got the call. He and his fiancee just looked at each other and decided to keep driving past Illinois all the way to Tuck.

It's a long process, but it's not over until the fat lady (or waitlist decline email) sings.

My waitlist email says feedback by March 2nd. Did anyone receive the feedback so far?
