usually fellowship emails come within a few hours of the admit email. If you dont get any more emails then yes, you are not getting any

don't lose hope yet - i was told during my welcome call that any scholarship info will be delivered during a second email within 2 days, not within hours.

Has anyone else received wait list with interview? What does this tend to mean? Are we considered with r3?

Question about school choices. I got in both UCLA and Duke. Want to go into business consulting in the west coast in the future. Any suggestions?

Duke is ranked higher but if you want to work on the West Coast, it's hard not to think UCLA will give you the better opportunity and network.

I agree. Duke is ranked a little higher, but the program doesnt have as huge a network as maybe a top 5, so the slight ranking advantage definitely doesn't offset te huge benefit that UCLA will give you on the west coast. Plus, all the same mid to large companies recruit from all of the top 20 schools anyway, so you might as well be in the optimal location and fit.

+1

Right now I am in a similar situation. I got in to Duke, USC (w/full scholarship), and UCLA. Will be settling down long term in Southern California, and am waiting to hear if I get a scholarship from UCLA before making a final decision. Assuming I don't get any fellowship money from UCLA, I am leaning towards going to USC simply because it has (arguably) as strong a brand in Socal and I would be able to save over 100k on my MBA.

Re: UCLA Anderson 2012 - Calling All Applicants [#permalink]
Does anyone have any idea about the percentage of applicants waitlisted in R1 finally getting admitted?
The 1st page seems to have no changes whatsoever.

How many people on this forum who have been admitted will refuse the offer and join some other school?

I am planning to apply in R3 and want to approximately how many seats are up for grabs..a rough estimate will also do.

I think you should just apply. You cant make any estimates this way.

Quick question. For those of you that received an invite with a fellowship offer, did you fill out anything during admissions specifically to be considered for the fellowship? I was told during application stages that fellowships would be considered based on the MBA program application and there was nothing else to fill out. However, today I found something that seems to state otherwise.

Thanks.

All applicants are automatically considered for fellowships as part of the admissions process according to the UCLA Admissions Committee. You don't need to go through a separate application process to receive consideration.

I received my package today. I was admitted on March 16 but the package was dated April 4. I guess they started sending admit packages on the same day, April 4. Btw, I am in Asia.

I was admitted on 3/8 and received a fellowship email the following morning. I did not fill out anything during the application, I just received a congratulatory email on 3/9 stating the amount and the reason I was chosen. Looking at the admit portal, that seems to be the case for the Merit and Donor Fellowships, you were just automatically considered during the admissions process.

It does look like UCLA Anderson offers need based grants separate from the fellowships, and those grants do require an application. Look on the left side of the MBA Admit Portal, choose Financing Your MBA; Financing Options; Grants for instructions. The deadline for Rounds 1 and 2 is this coming Sunday, 4/15.

Hope this helps!

Has anyone else received an admit package? I was admitted on 3/8 and live on the West Coast but haven't received anything.
