I was admitted on 3/8 and received a fellowship email the following morning. I did not fill out anything during the application, I just received a congratulatory email on 3/9 stating the amount and the reason I was chosen. Looking at the admit portal, that seems to be the case for the Merit and Donor Fellowships, you were just automatically considered during the admissions process.
It does look like UCLA Anderson offers need based grants separate from the fellowships, and those grants do require an application. Look on the left side of the
MBA Admit Portal, choose Financing Your MBA; Financing Options; Grants for instructions. The deadline for Rounds 1 and 2 is this coming Sunday, 4/15.
