A for me.
IMHO, in B & C, the subject needs to come right after the modifying phrase, but doesn't.
D sounds wrong. I t makes it read that Beatrix was carefully coordinated.
Between A & E, A sounds better to me.

A request : pls be extra careful when posting the OA. I kept scratching my head when I saw your first OA and thought how in this world can option E be a correct grammatical construction...until obviously you mentioned the correct answer. Sometimes, seeing an answer which you are least expecting as the OA can affect your self-confidence!!! Posted from my mobile device

Can some one please tell me what is the difference between "with her narratives" and "by her narratives" .
Is the former usage wrong ?

For me it was a pronoun reference error, them did not refer to books or Beatrix clearly, this was solved in C.
