I had my interview this past Saturday. My interviewer asked me the questions in red. It's possible that the questions in blue were not asked because I covered them before my interviewer could even get to them.

Essay 2 should be more focussed on you - your experiences and values. Describe 2-3 of them in short if you can. Devote the last part to how that will connect with Fuqua's culture eg: if you are strong on ethics, show what clubs/classes you might be able to contribute in. Note that this essay is a GIVE to Fuqua essay.

Essay 3 is a take from Fuqua essay. What interests you about the school? Maybe the fact that it is in a university thats big on sports and you'll get a good feel of the overall student experience? Maybe Durham and NC attract you? What kind of classes/professors are you looking for that are at Duke but no where else. stuff like that

There could be a little overlap in 2 and 3, but I would recommend minimizing that. As then it may seem you haven't done enough research to appropriately comment on the school's diversity.

In the first page, in the deadlines box is messed up. Rd 1 is due on Nov 1 and Rd 2 on Jan 4, while deadline box makes it look like Rd 2 is on Nov 1 and Rd 3 on Jan 4.

Yes, 2000 chars each I believe.

It's a good idea to set yourself up as a recommender to see what your recommender will see. Then you can prep them better with no surprises. You can delete from the list afterwards.

My hands are still shaking so I would probably just spill the champagne... so I'll be hanging out here in the meantime.

Well, I applied in R3 last year, which was application suicide. I think I was able to make a strong case for myself, which is why they put me on the waitlist.

I was lucky enough to get a raise after I submitted my application in March 2011. And then in October, I was promoted (and got a raise again).

On top of that, I ramped up my extracurricular activities. However, instead of volunteering just for the sake of volunteering, I absolutely made sure that these activities were relevant to my short and long-term goals.

I can give you some more details if you send me a PM. I don't want to end up hijacking the thread talking about my "accomplishments".
