Re: Calling all Female MBA Applicants [#permalink]
HI,

I am so relieved to see a female forum. please guys help in evaluation of my profile. I have not started applying and I am already demoralized.

The problem is I have shown my profile to many people and I have received different verdicts and assessments, additionally my consultant is really pessimistic.

I am really confused about how important GMAT is. I know that 700+ looks good but how far is 690 worse than 700 mark ?
I sure have no hope for Harvard , standford , yale etc. I am being realistic.
But I wish to now if 690 is as bad as to deserve to go to 2nd tier universities ?

I have not invented anything or started any company but I have learned leadership skills when I mentored and led team in volunteering.

AND I hope you could give some idea about my chances of getting in the following universities.

1) Georgetown university - McDonough
2) NY stern
3) Cornell
4) Tuck
5) Boston University

And could tell me other universities , in which I have good chance of getting with and without scholarship.

My profile as follows;

1) age- 26

nationality- Indian

2) undergrad major- BTech- computers

The project was million dollar marketing department.

Other than handling my own responsibilities . I created an effective cost cutting model for inter- project training programs and also participated as trainer in my technology skill field.
