I am a prospective Rady student.

Could you please let me know how reputed the school and the program are (especially in the Southern CA area) ? Also about job prospects in San Diego?

Hi Gandalf,

I am an applicant as well but went to UCSD for undergrad and had a chance to sit in some classes. The educational quality is there. The reputation of the school is growing every year. The Rady brand is pretty strong in the San Diego area. After all, the school was created by the overwhelming demand by the local business leaders.

Sorry for the late response, but hopefully it helps other applicants.

The interview was very conversational.
I had it with Kate Mickle.

Talked about:
What I currently do.
How an MBA helps.
Why a UCSD MBA.
What resources do I want to utilize.
Then she took some time to talk about the school.
She was skilled in bouncing between your responses and giving input.

Just received acceptance online this Friday to FlexWeekend MBA program. Awaiting word on Financial Aid.....!

Edit: Received $20k "Emerging Leaders" Fellowship! Still awaiting rest of Financial Aid packet. In case it's news for someone, apparently starting the 2012-2013 school year Subsidized Federal Stafford Loans will no longer be offered...only non-subsidized Staffords.
