True, I've never been a big poster. I try to post information, but am not on here to chat much. I'm not trying to be secretive either. If anyone wants to find out who I am or talk before admit weekend, feel free to send a pm.

I'm a bit surprised this is even being raised as an issue. I've only read here and posted because it seems to be a pretty open and welcoming group.

Congrats 09App! :-D Chicago is a great school, with gorgeous facilities. You'll just have to put up with the weather here in Chicago. :wink: (It's the only downside I can think of!)

I didn't hear anything today, which cannot be a good sign. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to remain on the WL instead of being rejected outright.

Surely someone original from the first page got in besides 09app (unless of course 09app's screen name was one of the originals)

If R2 is anything like R1, domestic applicants (like myself) are doomed to be waitlist or deny on Wednesday.
