Can't say I have got to being bothered - the most I did was turn my phone off silent so it would wake me as I tried to sleep off jetlag.

I couldn't have done much more - a waitlist would be a thorough waste of my time as I have little left to offer to them.

It is so frustrating to me. I have worked so hard in my undergrad, gmat, extra-curricular, and work. Busted my butt on essays and recommendation... yet no fruit to show for...

this is a horrible feeling... sigh...

I'm truly sorry man. It frustrates me to no end to see people - people who I know have put forward herculean efforts on some of this stuff - get within two yards of the finish line and not make it. I wouldn't throw in the towel just yet though, there are still several hours left today and in R1 a handful of calls were made Wednesday morning.

Yeah, it sucks.

I have mixed feelings. At this point, waitlist seems better than a ding.

But I'm not sure I'm hoping for a waitlist. If I get a waitlist, then there's going to be more soul-searching/getting more recs/more time and energy wasted for more heartache.

MBA dings hurt so much, because of the way schools make you bend over backwards for them showing how much you really want to go to their school even when you're not sure which schools will accept you.

Just wanted to weigh in the day before D-day. I haven't received a call yet but that's ok. I've already decided to go to Ross (unless Chicago gives me a bunch of money...which isn't happening). Because of my interest in sustainable business, Chicago was always behind Ross in my personal rankings. I like Chicago's feisty style of debate/challenge but I think I will be better served at Ross being that I have little to no business background and I may need a bit more "hand-holding". Plus I get in-state tuition (every dollar counts).

Congrats to all those who are in at GSB it is a fantastic school with a killer building (and cafe) and great students.

When are deposits due for the people who were accpeted during R2? I suppose that any remaining people on the WL as of tomorrow will have to wait until after the R2 deposit deadline.

Huh....so I guess I got into Chicago. Wow, I'm a bit shocked frankly. I guess I might need to reconsider my whole Ross is best for me thing. I'm still thinking Ross....but being in the company of rhyme....interesting.

Did Ross offer a scholarship? Someone on BW is debating Ross with full tuition waiver or Chicago with $0. There's another guy on there who turned down Cornell with $50K for Chicago.

Couldn't get to a computer until now but I got the admit call this afternoon!!! I was starting to lose hope.
Now the Kellogg vs. Chicago battle is going through my head nonstop...there will be little sleep tonight...
