Mine was interesting.
My interviewer started off saying you've got a great background and international experience but I really want to know if you'd 'fit' in at INSEAD. So the questions were things like challenges, achievements in life, more about my startup, balancing situations, what do you want to do (and he didn't want to hear the goals in my essays :P ) ...
He was nice and informal, but there was a certain 'something' - like he could see 'inside' everything I was saying and it was a little unnerving
The interview was conversational, but that's a double-edged weapon ... you end up saying things you wouldn't have said in a formal office environment :P
Good luck to everyone. I just want to hear from my second interviewer and end this pain!

Am I the only one who feels profound relief after finishing the interviews and knowing there is nothing else I can do? I can only hope to get accepted or rejected. Please no waitlisting, give me a clean death instead :-)

- Lets say the total number of students at INSEAD in a particular year is 1000.
- 500 will be filled in the September intake.
- That leaves 500 for the January intake.
- About 200 will be filled in round 1 and a 100 in round 3.
- That leaves 200 seats for Round 2
- Now, INSEAD would probably invite about 350 to 400 students assuming a 50% yield. So there are about 400 invites that will go out in Round 2
- If 10%-15% of these people are members of this forum, we can expect around 30 invites to show up here. (A number confirmed from last years threads)
- Leaving out the early invites, I guess there are about 20 more invites that will show up here = HOPE

Yes, there is still HOPE!!

As long as you did not get a Reject email you should be fine. I am 99% positive that there will be more acceptance calls tomorrow based on last year's thread. "It ain't over until the fat lady sings" (i am not implying that your coordinator is a fat lady)

Hi Jan 2013 applicants, I've just been through the INSEAD application process and have been accepted (starting in Sept 2012). I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have. You're welcome to post questions here or pm me.

Hi. Let me be the first to post here. I've just submitted my application for January 2013. It'll be a long time before I hear from them, but at least I'm done. It's such a great relief.

Congrats to everyone who received the interview calls. The wait is killing me :)
Would you mind sharing when you submitted your applications. I submitted mine right on the deadline and I wondering if they are reviewing them on a first in first out basis

Hey, I don't think it works on a FIFO basis as I submitted my package on 11 a.m. Fonty time on the day of the deadline......

You are not alone Bicklyboop! It sure is a relief to be done with all that... and now it's a question of waiting.

I hope I get in, simply because I don't feel like applying all over again! :P

+1 on that one!

I have been at this for 14 months already, if you count from the very first time I opened the GMAT study book back in April 2011, so I had a mini-celebration for completing the entire process, but I really want to have the answer now, and, like you, I would dread being waitlisted and having to wait a few more months for a final result.
