A visit never hurts, but make sure you book you class visit slot by registering online... I had seen some people turn up unannounced and they were just turned away because they had limited slots (at other school, not Johnson)...

Hi,

R3 AMBA Applicant from India here. I am visiting the US on a personal trip next 2 weeks and was wondering if its a good idea to visit Cornell after applying. Are they apprehensive about applicants visiting before the invites are announced?

Thanks

Hello. As a recently admitted R-2 student, I can definitely say that a visit to campus does indeed help. You can just register for an information session on Johnson's site or a class visit. Make yourself known to as many students, faculty, admissions staff so that they can attach a face to your application once you submit your application. They'll also know that you're serious abou the school if you're taking time to come to Ithaca (from India!). A campus visit definitely worked for me!
Best!

Thanks for the quick response koteho and Angelind. I'll schedule with univ. and probably attend an information session.

Is anyone else still waiting for a Scholarship Email notification? I have not heard that I received nothing, nor have I heard that I received a scholarship. Anyone hear?

I asked adcom about this and they said all notifications should be sent by tomorrow (Thursday).

Anyone know how quick admissions decisions are released when its on a "rolling basis"?

I was a R2 candidate who could only interview after the R2 deadline had passed, was verbally reassured that I was a R2 candidate and that I would get an outcome within 48 hours. It's been a few days since that 48 hours deadline, so just wondering whether I should get in touch with Adcoms or just wait for them to get in touch.

Not really fussed or worried, just want to know so I can move on with my decision making.

I think you should get in touch with AdCom. I don't think there is any harm in asking.

Me three. I also got an email with the subject line "Toigo Fellowship" from Johnson a couple days ago...just a prompt to apply for it. Not a cool move seeing that some of us are still waiting to hear about scholarship offers :?

Hey, I was in a similar situation as you. I interviewed on 10th and got my decision on 14th. Give it 3-5 days.
By the way, my interviewer had mentioned that I could call admissions office if I did not hear anything in 48 hrs.

Congrats! I received an invite to the scholarship weekend, where the email says a scholarship isn't guaranteed. Does anyone have insight on this weekend? What to expect, etc?
