My interview is scheduled for this Saturday. No chance I get to hear from Johnson next week.

Everyone I talked to at Johnson, mentioned that the decisions would be given out on 19th and 20th of December. Even my interviewer asked me not to expect a decision till a day ahead of the deadline (I had my interview at Johnson on Nov 8th, see my earlier post). So this is news to me! are you sure you heard it right? As LionsBC12 said, are you sure she said 6th, not 16th (friday)?

My interviewer also told me that they'd start sending out results early, possibly starting early-dec. :)

I wonder what that means for those who have been invited but have yet to interview then. Have the decisions been made, and are these interviews just going to be done for formality?

Would you think this is a good sign for those who fall into this category?

This is all speculation, but I don't think they would waste their time inviting people this late in the round if they had no intention of accepting them. It would be so tough to deliberate on the remaining applicants and only choose 40-50% of the interviewed applicants within the next two weeks. Therefore, I think that the only reason an applicant, who is invited this late, won't get accepted is if they totally bomb the interview.

The admissions representative mentioned to me that she and the other 4 people will start calling admitted applicants on 19th. But they might not be able to reach everyone this way. She also mentioned that there is a chance that they might start calling on 16th itself. But I don't think there is anyway that it will be any time before 16th.

I have my interview next week at johnson.
Is a copy of a resume sufficient or should we carry any additional documents?

I didn't bring anything and was fine. I had an empty padfolio. I meant to print off a resume but never got around to it.

In general, though, you should bring a copy of your resume and something to write on.

Hi Johnson applicants! FYI if you're applying to Johnson through the Consortium Graduate Study in Management (CGSM), hop over to the Consortium 2012 Forum and Update Your Profile to reflect that you are applying through the Consortium.

It's simple. Just select your school as "Consortium, the", then indicate which specific institution(s) you'll be applying to and the Consortium round you'll be applying in. You can do all of this easily through the handy 'Add to Your Schools' link on the front page of the Consortium 2012 Forum.

We have a special analytics specifically for those candidates applying via Consortium and lots of useful tips for your application and assessment of your candidacy.

Cheers!

Have any R2 applicants had a status change on their application? Mine still says submitted. Anyone know how long this typically takes to change?

Is this the same Sarah Markels that I met at Tepper Diversity weekend, that went to Wellesley? If so, good to see that you've joined the GMATCLUB community!

Should R1 applicants not expect interview invites after the R2 deadline? Some posters have made it sound like there is an additional deadline for interview invites...

According to AdCom, they can invite you to interview up until decision day. Although the chances of getting an invite at this point are pretty slim, it is not impossible. Good luck!
