I've submitted my application and have an interview lined up. Not sure why this thread is so neglected. I really want to go to Rice for energy and the school overall is really making strides.

Hey bro! All the best . would you mind telling when did you submit you application and when you got a call for interview? I mean round 1 application has been freezed only for 3 days now.

I submitted on 10/30 and received an interview invite on 11/1. I didn't expect that quick of a turn around. I didn't even see the email untill the next day because i wasn't expecting to hear anything until after the Round 1 deadline. Hopefully thats good, but who knows.

Has anyone attended information sessions, visited college? If so, please share your experiences about the school. I am from India and completed my education in english medium. You don't have to take toefl if medium of instruction in your undergraduate university was only english. However, I would recommend you to go through the admissions page in business.rice.edu
